Professional Experience
I’ve worked as a Project Engineer for the past 10 years working in different aspects of engineering: Manufacturing, Design, and Quality. For the last 5 years, I’ve worked as a Systems Engineer doing Controls and Database work for various commercial industries. At every company I’ve worked, I’ve always been involved in evaluating, customizing, and implementing new software tools that were considered to save time, increase performance, and improve accuracy. I started by developing database tools for engineering departments in the semiconductor, defense, and municipal industries which led toward my unleashing of Microsoft SQL Server and the .NET Framework. In 2007, I was promoted to a position in Project Controls where I administrated core management and financial software for a professional services firm and a non-profit music school. I gained significant knowledge of Network Administration and Project Management in the years since then.
My greatest strength in all my years of doing Engineering was listening to the needs of people regardless of position or background. I always tried to match tools that fulfilled people’s needs. This is why customer partnerships are so valuable to me. By gaining operational insight into your company or non-profit, I can pick up on the tools and/or features that are needed and how to best implement them. Customers are the experts when it comes to what they want. I just help them to realize their ideas and hopefully their full potential.
